Samsung provides March 2024 security patch to the European units of Galaxy S22 Series

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 devices back in 2022; the devices came with Android 12, and later they received two more major updates, Android 13 and Android 14, sequentially. The device has also received some security patch updates, and now, moving forward, the company has rolled out the March 2024 security patch update.
The Galaxy S22 started receiving the March 2024 security patch update in Europe. Users who own the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra have the firmware version numbers S901BXXS7DXBD, S906BXXS7DXBD, and S908BXXS7DXBD, respectively. The latest update brings some security-related enhancements for the devices. The update has already reached the US and will gradually expand to all countries worldwide.
Going into details, the March 2024 security patch will bring more than 40 fixes. Google has added and introduced 37 patches that address issues related to Android OS, while nine other patches are introduced by Samsung, which exclusively provide fixes for Samsung Galaxy devices.
