Samsung is one of the largest market shareholders in terms of the availability of its smartphone in the Android device market in the world. Still, the company is always ahead in distributing the new major updates for its smartphones compared to other OEMs like Xiaomi, Oppo, etc. However, due to its vast availability, some devices are delayed in getting the update. For now, the Galaxy A52 is getting the One UI 6.0 and Android 14 updates.

The latest Android 14 update for the Galaxy A52 is now available for European countries and Asia countries, including Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, the UAE, Ukraine, and Vietnam. It is worth noticing that the update is already available for the 5G variant.

The latest update for the Galaxy A52 also brings a new security patch update in the form of a January 2024 security patch, which will provide some security-related enhancements that will address the issues.

If we talk about the One UI 6.0 update, it will provide some new features in some internal functions of the devices, including a Quick panel, new emoji designs, and a new media player widget for the lock screen and notification.
