Samsung One UI: How to Lock Notes on Galaxy Phones
Samsung Galaxy users always take advantage of several features that will be available for the devices. This is only possible due to the One UI, which provides a bunch of extra features that provide more utility options that are not yet available on the new Android updates. Some of the features are hidden, which the company doesn’t share with the changelog. Here we will discuss one of the useful hidden features of Notes.
Samsung Galaxy users can lock individual files on Notes
Samsung Galaxy users have the dedicated Notes application, which provides you with the facility to take notes and save them separately. The application provides several features, so you are also able to take notes in different ways, like drawing, voice memos, photos, and more. Sometimes you may also save some sensitive information in notes, but it can be dangerous for security as it can be accessed easily. However, you can now lock them easily.
How to Set Fingerprint or Password on Samsung Notes
To do that, you just need to tap and hold on the file that you want to secure with a password; it will show a lock icon button. Just tapping on it will ask you to give the Samsung account password, which is already there, or you can simply use the fingerprint. Similarly, you can lock any number of files in the notes.
Once the files are locked, you can easily access them with the fingerprint unlock. If you want to change the password method, you can also do that by going to settings, selecting Note unlock methods, tapping on the Note unlock methods, and using the text-type password.
