Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 could appear in a boxy design

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is undoubtedly a hot topic for now in the market, and it is expected to have a boxier design. A new report raises the strong possibility of the upcoming fold’s boxier style.

Even before any official announcement or release, there are tons of leaks and rumors blowing in the air regarding the specs, design, and features of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. Now more reports for the boxier design are available through images of what is said to be a Galaxy Z Fold 6 dummy unit. The square corners make the Galaxy Z Fold 6 look more different than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

If the coming Galaxy Z Fold 6 arrives with a boxier design, that will be the right move for the brand to increase the cover display width. The wider cover display is quite a positive change, though it could not be a big enough difference for everyone. Galaxy foldable fans, especially those who prefer wider displays, should go through the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. Noticeably, the availability of both of these models will be considerably limited.

The current evidence for the boxier design was speculated by a user on Reddit who shared a boxy-designed picture of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6. In a way, the phone looks similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S Ultra and Galaxy Note smartphones.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim may also launch a few weeks or months after the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Reports say that the Slim model is being criticized harshly for a launch by the end of 2024, but the Korean giant could offer a teaser at its Unpacked event in Paris next month on July 10.
