Samsung Could Reveal Galaxy Z Fold 6 ‘Slim’ Along with Galaxy S25

The Korean firm ‘Samsung’ is reportedly gearing up for a Fold 6 Slim with a larger display, but this time without an S Pen.

Transparently, Samsung is building the next-generation foldable in full swing. Now leaks and CAD renders are blowing into the market, revealing the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6’s design. Not only design, but rumors also hint that the Korean giant is working on an ‘Ultra’ variant of its flagship foldable.

However, the expected Ultra variant of the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 might see a limited release or not launch at all. Meanwhile, to increase the enthusiasm among fans, Ross Young on X has shared more details about “Fold 6 Slim,” which could ship with a bigger display as compared to Fold 6.

The CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, known for his accurate display-related supply chain leaks, says he’s hearing about Samsung working on a Fold 6 Slim. The device will have a larger display than that of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it noticeably lacks S Pen support. Apart from this, he also hinted that it’s quite possible the Korean giant could market the device as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, but the exact final name is yet to be decided. He pointed out in the post that the Samsung Fold 6 Slim could arrive in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Irrespective of the name, the open-book foldable will “definitely” be slimmer than the Fold 6 due to the lack of a digitizer. As per the analysis of the display analyst, it might carry similar price tags as the Fold 6. It is expected that this could launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series, which is supposed to arrive in early 2025.

On the other hand, the sixth-generation Galaxy foldable Galaxy Z Folf 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in early July
