Galaxy S23 Receives June 2024 Security Update in the USA

Samsung has started rolling out the June 2024 security patch for its Galaxy devices, and it started with its latest flagship, the Galaxy S24 Series. Now the update reaches the Galaxy S23 Trio.

In these hours, we are starting to accommodate the June 2024 security patches for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. These are the second models of the manufacturer to receive the most recent security fixes, but unfortunately, it seems that the distribution has started in the United States for carrier-locked T-Mobile and MetroPCS units. The firmware in rollout is S91*USQS3CXE3, and it does not appear to include any other relevant news.

However, Samsung has already shared the security bulletin. The June patches include fixes for 37 CVE vulnerabilities common to the operating system (none of critical level) and another 22 of type SVE, i.e., specific to the manufacturer’s devices (only one of critical level).

Distribution could reach other carriers, including unlocked units, at any time, so we recommend that you keep track of your system settings.
