Samsung Misses Key Qualcomm Patches in June 2024 Security Update

Samsung recently published the official document detailing the June 2024 security patch for all eligible Galaxy devices. Under this documentation, there are several new patches introduced by Google and Samsung to address several critical issues that will ultimately improve the security mechanisms of the devices. But it is worth noticing that some patches are not included by Samsung, which may lead to device issues.
Samsung missed so many critical Qualcomm patches in June 2024 update
Qualcomm has introduced three critical patches that are not listed in the documentation. For your information, Qualcomm delivers patches directly to the OEMs, but Samsung hasn’t included those patches this time and said that patches received from chip vendors may be deployed through next month’s software update.
It is worth noting that the component updates are genuinely critical. It would be best if the company took it seriously and brought the patch with the same security patch update so it would apply total security to the devices.
According to the information, Google has officially warned that a number of its own highly severe vulnerabilities’could m make your smartphone highly vulnerable to the attackers that use your data or remotely control your device to execute illegal activities.
If this issue arrived at other major smartphone companies like Google or Apple, they would have the capability to provide new updates the same day to address the problem, but since Samsung hasn’t followed the same strategy, users would have to wait some more time until it was prepared for the next update.
