Samsung recently halted the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series in some regions; meanwhile, the company is extending the September 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 and S23+ models currently in the Latin American countries.

The 2023 Galaxy flagships, S23 and S23+ units, have started receiving the September 2024 security update, which has been spotted in Brazil, while it will get expanded to the other eligible regions soon.

This security update for the Galaxy S23 and S23+ can be identified with the S911BXXS6CXHA and S916BXXS6CXHA software versions. It’s important to note that the same update has probably arrived for the Galaxy S23 Ultra model as well; however, the software version has not yet been spotted.

Meanwhile, the September 2024 security update significantly adds several key improvements to the device’s overall security in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, resolves certain known issues, and brings stability to the device’s behavior, all while keeping the device protected from external harms.

In addition, it’s packed with various key enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, along with offering some performance optimizations and adding new features that help users have a smooth, stable, and optimized software experience.
