Samsung to Use Its in-House Exynos Chipsets to Power Next Year’s Flip Phones

Samsung seems to dedicate its next year to its foldable phone since it is gearing up to launch a bunch of the latest foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE, which are expected to be powered by the Exynos 2500 and Exynos 2400e, respectively.

Samsung recently launched its Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which is exclusively available in Korea and China. Now it is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which are expected to be powered by an in-house Exynos chipset.

A well-reliable tipster, Jukanlosreve, shared a post on X, claiming that the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE will be powered by Exynos 2400e. Whereas the company will power the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7 with Exynos 2500. However, Samsung has not announced anything official regarding the specifications of its coming foldable phones, so it remains to see whether these rumored chipsets will power the devices.

It is also rumored that Samsung is working on its first tri-foldable phone to launch next year, for which it might use an ‘infolding’ design to boost its durability. Recently, a patent has revealed the new design for the future tri-fold Galaxy smartphone.

On the rival side, Huawei already introduced its tri-foldable phone, but in limited markets. This means that if Samsung debuts its tri-fold phone earlier than any other manufacturer, then it will be the first brand to introduce the tri-fold phone worldwide.
