Samsung recently launched its latest foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, and now it is looking forward to launching the Galaxy Z Flip FE, which could be powered by the Exynos 2400.

Reportedly, Samsung is budding a new flip phone named Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is expected to be affordable. The company usually launches the affordable variant of its flagship Galaxy smartphones under the ‘FE’ title for customers who prefer budget-able smartphones.

A reliable tipster, Jukanlosreve, on X, shared a post claiming that Samsung could power the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE with an Exynos 2400 chip. The company uses the same processor to power the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.

Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 is a high-performance processor based on 4nm process technology and features a powerful CPU and advanced GPU.

However, previously Samsung backed out of the plan to bring an FE variant for foldable phones and hinted to bring a new form factor with more advanced foldable smartphones in the future. Now the new report suggests that the company is planning to introduce an affordable foldable phone.

The aim behind debuting the budget-able Galaxy Z Flip FE phone is to make the foldable technology more accessible to a wider audience by offering a lower price point. For now, there’s no detailed information regarding the coming device, but it’s expected that as we move closer to next year, more details will come to be known.
