Samsung’s New Simon Says ad Mocks Apple’s Loyal Customer Base

Samsung and Apple are the two biggest rivals of each other in the tech industry, and both of them hardly miss a chance to tease each other. Now Samsung’s new Simon Says ad encourages individuality and criticizes Apple’s loyal customer base.

Samsung’s latest ad takes a jab at Apple and its devotee customer base as it teases that they are blindly following a trend rather than making their own choices. The ad shows dozens of people using iPhones, who are all just following the dictates of a mysterious character named Simon.

The ad clip dedicatedly points out that these iPhone owners simply don’t want to leave the ecosystem and only prefer sticking with former innovations. Then suddenly Samsung’s innovative Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 come into the spotlight and stand out as quite innovative as compared to the newly launched Apple iPhone 16. The key line of the ad is ‘Samsung says do your own things.”

Samsung debuted its sixth-generation foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July this year, which lets you do your things. The ad is dedicated to showcasing that foldable phones are quite innovative with Galaxy AI, which has a major edge over Apple Intelligence in terms of availability and feature richness.

Samsung released the ad through its official X handle, @SamsungMobileUS.
