Samsung’s newer One UI 7 beta is almost around the corner, while the company is consistently continuing with an impressive series of releasing security patches for the Galaxy devices. The November 2024 security update was rolled out for the Galaxy S24 series earlier this month, following the Galaxy S23 series last week. Now, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are getting the patch in South Korea.
Given the Android security firmware that packs the November 2024 security patch, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 units have been receiving the update and are identified with the F956NKSU2AXK8 and F741NKSU2AXK8 firmware versions.
Although the update measures 1030.85 MB, it only packs several improvements to the system security that allow Galaxy owners to have a secure experience all while keeping their device protected from external threats. It adds stability and reliability to the system’s behavior for a more stable and efficient experience. Also, Samsung has not included any major changes or features in this monthly patch other than fixing security vulnerabilities.
Alternatively, the update further brings performance optimizations while also enhancing the system functionality that significantly leads to a smooth yet optimized software experience. It focuses on providing overall system smoothness, thus adding fixes for other relevant bug fixes and improvements.
Further, the November 2024 security patch for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 is currently going live in the home country, South Korea; Samsung will shortly release the firmware to the other eligible regions.
