Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has already been spotted on several certifications and now the US variant of the device with the model number SM-S938U appeared on Camera FV-5, which reveals several details of its main camera.
Samsung will debut the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 January. The ultra variant of the series; Galaxy S25 Ultra’s main camera will feature a 23.2mm equivalent focal length and f/1.7 aperture with shots outputted in 12.5MP with a maximum resolution of 4080×3060 px and the sensor area is listed at 71.9mm2.
The next-generation Galaxy S25 Ultra is already rumored to be equipped with a 200MP main camera just like its predecessor, which bins pixels in a 16-to-1 formation and outputs 12.5MP shots by default. The Korean tech giant is also expected to offer a 50MP (IMX854) telephoto with 5x optical zoom, a 10MP (IMX754) telephoto with 3x optical zoon and a 50MP (Samsung JN3) ultrawide lens.
The entire Galaxy S25 series is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. The battery package of the Galaxy S25 Ultra could include a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. Recently, it also reported that the coming series would not meet the hike in price at least in a few European countries including Germany.
