Right after starting the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta rollout for the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung reverted back to the December 2024 security update, as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are the only models to get the security patch so far. Now, following a wider rollout, Samsung has started pushing the update for the devices in the European market for Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The December 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been marked as the F956BXXS2AXKC version numbers and currently available in Germany and the UK.

Being just 380.49MB in size, the update, however, doesn’t mention any major features or changes, but it significantly introduces a lot of improvements for the overall system security that protects devices from external threats and harms and offers a secure user experience. It further fixes all the security-related vulnerabilities that are addressed in the previous version.

On the opposite side, the update further brings stability to the system behavior, adds various performance optimizations, applies the latest security patches, and delivers much-improved features to offer a smooth, stable, and efficient user experience to the users.

Moreover, the security patch for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is currently going live in Europe, while users can download the latest version on their devices when available in order to avoid any further security risk.
