Samsung is expected to show off its XR headsets “Project Moohan” at the Galaxy Unpacked

Samsung is all prepared to host its highly awaited Galaxy Unpacked on 22nd January in San Jose, California. The audience will witness the most incredible innovation via the next generation smartphone series, the Galaxy S25. Simultaneously, the company is also going to release more products, including the “Project Moohan” XR headsets.

Well, Samsung’s forthcoming XR headsets, “Project Moohan,” will be the first XRs to be powered with the Android XR platform and are developed with Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm collectively.

Meanwhile, certain reports suggest that Samsung is expected to showcase the upcoming Project Moohan in action at the Galaxy Unpacked while also aiming to significantly present an immersive and overwhelming experience to the users. Being powered by the Android-based XR platform, Samsung’s next headsets are reported to feature Google’s best services like Find My Device.

Alternatively, Google itself revealed earlier that it’s soon going to implement different app modes: Home Space and Full Space, where the former will allow users to multitask with their applications that are running in a side-by-side pattern alongside other apps, while the latter is the space where an app takes center stage that allows users to use one app at a time.

Apart from this, Samsung’s upcoming XR headsets will include virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and more other similar technologies that will eventually take the user’s experience to the next level. It seems like Samsung, along with Google and Qualcomm, are putting a lot of effort into entering into the XR market to offer great convenience and immersive viewing with a price that’s quite affordable, being way better than Apple.
