Samsung expands March 2025 update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the US

Samsung deals consistently when it comes to delivering updates for its Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the company is rolling out a new software update, the March 2025 patch for both the carrier-locked and unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the US, after Europe.

The latest update for the carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 integrating the latest March 2025 security update comes with the F936USQS8GYB2 and F721USQS8GYB2 version numbers, respectively, while the unlocked units have the F936U1UES8GYB2 and F721U1UES8GYB2 build numbers, respectively.

The software is now available on carriers including T-Mobile, MetroPCS and Comcast while Samsung will be expanding the update gradually to all the users.

As usual, the latest security update is a minor patch that; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it significantly brings a lot of fixes for the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous versions in order to provide a safe and secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

In addition, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality of the Galaxy devices, and on the other hand, it also introduces certain performance optimizations that will lead to a more smooth, stable and optimized performance.
