Carrier-locked Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 get March 2025 update in the US

Samsung is currently focusing on refreshing its Galaxy smartphones and tablets with the latest March 2025 security update, depending on their regions; meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 units are getting the patch in the US.

The March 2025 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 is now available in the US for the Verizon carrier-locked devices in the US and is recognized with the F926USQSAJYB3 and F711USQSBJYB3 build numbers, respectively.

Alternatively, the update is further available on other major carriers, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Spectrum Mobile with the similar version numbers mentioned above.

As usual, the current security update; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It brings a lot of key fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more safe and secure user experience, while also protecting Galaxy devices against potential threats.

In addition, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior for an efficient functionality and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a more stable, smooth and optimized experience.
