Samsung could debut Exynos 2500 with Galaxy Z Flip FE instead of Flip 7

Samsung is anticipated to debut its next-generation foldable smartphones, including Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE in the second half of the year; here are the new rumors.

The forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are supposed to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event sometime in July this year, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip FE could launch months after these devices. Without official details of the coming foldable phones, leaks and rumours regarding the specifications are already blowing in the market.

Previously it was rumored that Samsung would use its in-house Exynos 2500 chipset to power the Galaxy Z Flip 7, however, it doesn’t seem the case anymore since a new report suggests against this.

A report from the Korean newspaper The Bell revealed that Samsung’s Exynos division is having great difficulty finding the right launch window for the Exynos 2500 chipset, which could force the company to ditch its in-house chip to power the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

The difficulties encountered may have convinced the Korean tech giant to reconsider its strategy and replace the Exynos 2500 with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE model, which is expected to launch months after the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7.

Since Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding the chipset of coming foldable phones, it remains to see whether this report will come true.
