Samsung is expanding its ways in the mobile gaming industry via its new cloud gaming platform, making it easier for game developers to reach a vast range of players.
Samsung Electronics is actively working on pushing the boundaries of gaming on Galaxy devices with groundbreaking advancements via its mobile cloud gaming platform, which helps to empower mobile game developers and publishers of all sizes to expand their reach increase revenue potential, and streamline game development with a comprehensive suite of software development kits (SDKs) and tools.
The firm launched this platform back in November 2024, this platform enhances players’ gaming experience by letting them play games instantly without waiting for downloads. The platform is already demonstrating efficient value within the gaming community; for instance, Klondike Adventures, a game by the developer VIZOR saw notable growth in players right after joining Samsung’s cloud gaming platform in July 2024. Reportedly VIZOR secured millions of new players and acknowledged that its ad campaigns on cloud gaming platforms were 25% more effective than other campaigns.

Samsung’s new cloud gaming platform also offers a convenient way to measure ad performance. Previously developers were forced to track ads by counting how many people downloaded their game, but now with cloud gaming, players don’t need to download the game, which makes this tracking method outdated. To deal with this scene, Samsung collaborated with AppsFlyer to create a new system that is compatible with tracking players’ actions even if they don’t install the game.
From May 15, 2025, Samsung will start updating its public terms to put more revenue back into their hands and will introduce an 80/20 revenue share model for games on the Galaxy Store.
