One UI 8 Watch Is Coming— Here’s Which Galaxy Watch Will Get the Update

Samsung appears to be currently planning to make a significant leap in terms of the One UI Watch version, jumping straight to One UI 8 Watch this time, beginning with the Galaxy Watch 8 series. But have you ever wondered whether your Galaxy Watch is eligible to get this newest update? Here’s the list of Galaxy watches that will be receiving the One UI 8 Watch update.

Basically, a few years back, Samsung itself confirmed that its Galaxy watch portfolio is eligible to receive up to 4 years of Wear OS-powered One UI Watch update support, beginning from the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic to the watch models launched in future.

Adhering to this watch software update policy, beginning with the Galaxy Watch 4 lineup, all the newer watches will be receiving the One UI 8 Watch version. At the same time, Samsung always looked consistent when it comes to its entire Galaxy ecosystem; however, the situation seems a little dicey with the Galaxy watches as the company delayed the relevant software support for the Galaxy Watches a while ago.

Beyond this, the One UI 8 Watch update is already in several rumours and headlines. The newest version is said to bring an all-new charging animation that will resemble that of One UI 7’s in mobile devices. Other than that, it is supposed to bring Now Bar and Now Brief on Galaxy watches, revamped app icons, and more enhanced tiles.
