Galaxy Watch 8 series to flaunt its new design, enhanced vibration pattern and more

Samsung is looking towards the expansion of its Galaxy watch portfolio with the next generation, Galaxy Watch 8 series, which is rumoured to be based on One UI 8 Watch, out of the box. Following the leak of the Classic model addition this year, a new leak just surfaced, suggesting a new design, more enhanced vibrations and more.

As per the codes discovered by Android Authority, Samsung will be debuting the Galaxy Watch 8 series with an all-new and refreshed design, ditching the older circular panel and adopting a Squircle shape.

The notes further revealed that a new One UI 8 Watch firmware for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with model number SM-L505 apparently provides codenames for the upcoming next-gen smartwatches.

Project X2 Galaxy Watch Ultra

The word “Fresh 8″ denotes it being the Galaxy Watch 8, “Wise 8” to be the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and lastly, “projectx2” could possibly be Galaxy Watch Ultra; however, no evidence was received so far.

Accompanied by the Squircle shape, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 Classic might feature a Quick Button, which is going to resemble the Galaxy Watch Ultra. At the same time, it’s noticeable that the placement of buttons in all three Galaxy watches are slightly different from one another, while the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic might get the iconic rotating bezel.

Finally, the reports even claimed that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic could possibly feature expanded vibration pattern support. Beyond this, previous facts hints towards a refreshed pack of system sounds for Galaxy Watch 8 series, Samsung Health Antioxidant Index feature, enhanced watch faces and extended battery, and revamped app icons.
