Samsung One UI 6 and Android 14: Everything you need to know

Every year, Google offers a major update to its Android operating system. Samsung does the same by using the new version of Android to offer an update to One UI. For the second half of 2023, several Galaxy smartphones are expected to receive Android 14 and One UI 6.0.

Let’s get back to taking care of the One UI 6.0, the next version of the custom user interface from Samsung that will be natively based on Android 14 and is expected by the end of the year on many smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer.

Samsung One UI 6.0 update may come with these features

One UI 6.0 Beta Availability

If we look at Samsung’s previous One UI Beta programs, the Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta was launched in the second week of September 2021, and the Android 13-based One UI 5 Beta came to the market in the first week of August 2022. Consequently, there is a high chance that we will get One UI 6 Beta to experience in July or August month. However, One UI 6 Beta’s arrival depends on another factor; let’s take a look at it.

Samsung Camera Assistant App will be available for Galaxy devices with One UI upgrades

Notably, Samsung can launch the Beta program for One UI 6 only after Google provides Android 14 for AOSP, which will happen after the OS reaches the platform stability landmark. It is possible that Android 14 will be registered in the platform stability market in late July, and right after that, the search engine giant will make the OS available for AOSP so that all manufacturers can start working on their UI as soon as possible.

No More Samsung One UI Software Update For Galaxy Devices

One more important thing, the One UI 4 Beta first reached the Galaxy S21 series, and the One UI 5 Beta was first got available for the Galaxy S22 series; hence, there is no doubt the One UI 6 Beta will first be available for this year latest the Galaxy S23 series. The 2023 flagships of the Galaxy S23 series are expected to lead the way, receiving (according to rumors) the first beta versions of the next update as early as the third week of July. However, the info is still unofficial.
