One UI 5 Watch: Galaxy Watch Unlock Feature Makes it Easier to Access Your Phone

Earlier, we discussed the watch unlock feature. With the help of this feature, users will be able to unlock their Galaxy device with the help of the smartwatch without touching it. This feature will provide more convenience when you are doing other kinds of stuff and get your fingers dirty or wet. This is now ready with One UI 5 for all the eligible Galaxy watches.

The watch unlock feature is different from the trusted devices

Trusted devices is a very old feature that helps you unlock the smartphone by Bluetooth-paired devices, and it can also be used by any unwanted person; therefore, it doesn’t get much popularity. But the watch-to-unlock feature is quite different from it. Users can unlock the smartphone with their paired watches, but to activate this feature, you have to use the PIN or password for your Galaxy watch, which will give extra security.

Some Good Lock Modules Temporarily Unplugged Due to One UI 6 Beta Update

It is spotted in the One UI 5 watch update, which means it will be available to all the Galaxy watches that are eligible to get the new skin update. It is likely to be available in all the models for all three series, including the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6.

Informatively, the One UI 5 watch beta recently went live in the US market; however, it is currently available to those Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 users who have participated in the beta program, and in a few days, it will be available publicly. Samsung will expand it to more markets in the next few days. Apart from the Watch to Unlock feature, the One UI watch is loaded with several new features.
