Galaxy S25 Series Goes All-In on Snapdragon 8 Elite for Worldwide Release

Samsung is hardly a quarter away from debuting its next-generation flagship series, the Galaxy S25. The company will go for the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite chip to power the series.

It’s been half a year since then the Galaxy S25 leaks and rumors are blowing in the market continuously. However, Samsung hasn’t released a single official announcement regarding the coming series.

Previously, it was rumored that Samsung would go with its in-house Exynos chipset to power the series. Later, it was reported that the entire Galaxy S25 series will be based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Some leaks also suggested Dimensity 9400 to power the base and plus model of the series.

Now the new report proves all the previous reports false and claims that the forthcoming Galaxy S25 series will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset instead of the Eynos 2500 and Dimensity 9400.

Snapdragon 8 Elite to Power Every Galaxy S25 Model Worldwide

A well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, assured that Samsung Galaxy S25 series uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The current Galaxy S24 series is split into two chipsets, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400. Now the company seems to have changed its strategy to ditch its in-house chipset and go with Snapdragon to power the coming Galaxy S25 series.

However, Samsung has yet to stand on this report officially. So it remains to be seen whether this report comes true and the entire Galaxy S25 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
