One UI 7 Beta Won’t Be Expanded to Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung is in no mood to further extend the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta program for the Galaxy S23 series, another report confirms.

According to the chat with Samsung experts shared by the leaker, FamilyTaes, on X, it significantly confirms that the Galaxy S23 series is not part of the One UI 7 beta program, while the experts further clarified that Samsung’s 2023 models will not receive the One UI 7 version until the company releases the stable version of the next Android skin iteration.

No One UI 7 Beta Program for Galaxy S23 Series

Thus, this clearly demonstrates the path where the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will continue to get certain beta builds of the One UI 7 version, and the beta testing will be limited to the S24 models, while the company will directly release the stable update for the Galaxy S23 lineup in early February, 2025.

Alternatively, this quick approach of Samsung’s is amazing, as it’s already lagging behind other Android partners who have started processing Android 15 to their smartphones. Therefore, this will help Samsung to easily catch up to the normal schedule by quickly pushing the stable update to older Galaxy phones and removing further delay of the distribution of One UI 7 to the other older Galaxy devices without impacting them and directly treating them with the stable one.

Moreover, with the latest One UI 7 update being full of exciting major changes and features, Galaxy audiences are expecting to experience these improvements as soon as possible. Simultaneously, the countdown of the Galaxy S25 lineup has already begun, which is scheduled to launch on 22nd January, while it will further be interesting to see whether the upcoming Galaxy S series will be pre-installed with the One UI 7.0 or 7.1 version.
