The Galaxy audience needs to wait a lot to experience the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 version, with the build currently available for beta testing for Samsung’s flagship, the S24 series. Although the latest version is still in its beta phase and stable is scheduled for January 2025, does the enhanced One UI 7.1 update exist? Evidence reveals so!

Basically, while looking at Samsung’s history till now, each of its new One UI x.1 iterations is eventually booked for its latest Galaxy S series. Some evidence reveals that the latest Android 15-based One UI 7.1 build exists and has just been spotted via the update on APK Mirror.

One UI 7.1 Existence Confirmed Through Samsung Apps Leak

A new update for the Samsung Notes carrying the 4.4.28.15 version number and Voice Recorder with the 21.5.70.56 build number has surfaced on the APK Mirror that significantly mentions the next Android 15-based One UI 7.1 version under the notes section. Thus, offering speculations that users might be going to witness the One UI 7.1 iteration sooner than expected.

Alternatively, while it has already been rumored that Samsung might not expand the current One UI 7 beta program for the older Galaxy S series, including the S23, S22, S21, and A series, the One UI 7.1 version is expected to arrive with the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, as the company is already too late to provide the latest OS update to the Galaxy audience. Thus, this will eventually help Galaxy users to have the stable sooner by reducing any further delay.

Simultaneously, the One UI 7.1 launch might also make the current One UI 7.0 version a temporary update, as Samsung has already delayed the new OS rollout when compared to other brands and has to bring its software rollout process on track as soon as possible.

Moreover, Samsung is approaching a seamless updates strategy for its next Galaxy S25 lineup, and thus, the possible arrival of One UI 7.1 with the S25 series on board will majorly allow Samsung to achieve its seamless updates goal. However, it’s earlier leaked that the upcoming Galaxy S series models could not come with One UI 7.1 pre-installed.
