Verizon Distributed October 2022 Security Patch For Galaxy S20 Series In The US

The South Korean giant has already distributed the October 2022 Android Security patch for its Galaxy smartphones and now turns to the two years old Galaxy S20 series.

Verizon’s US carrier network has started rolling out the October 2022 security patch for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones users. You can install the update on build version G981USQS3FVI7, G986USQS3FVI7, or G988USQS3FVI7, respectively.

The update also fixes about 47 security breaches found in Android. In addition, the changelog also cites the presence of performance adjustments for Samsung’s proprietary interface.

How To Check The Update

As this type of update is distributed slowly and gradually through batches, we point out that it may take a little longer for it to appear on your smartphone. The way to search manually is simple: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
