Once again, a day starts with a new software update for Galaxy smartphones. The South Korean giant is updating its four smartphones to the latest security patch this time.
Samsung served the October 2022 Android Security patch to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy S21 FE smartphone users in Europe. The new security patch fixes 32 security vulnerabilities. The changelog also mentions that all four devices’ stability and performance may improve with the latest software update.
The new firmware is available for both LTE and 5G units of the Galaxy S20 series, which can identify by build numbers G98xFXXSFFVIB and G98xBXXSFFVIB, respectively. If we talk about Galaxy S21 FE, we can identify it by the G990BXXS2CVI5 build number.
All you need to do is install the update is go to the system settings through the ‘Settings > Software Updates > Download and Install’ path and follow the directions. If it fails, you can try again after a few hours.
