After the reveal of the Galaxy S23 series, now everyone is eager for Samsung’s other biggest reveal- the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5. We are expecting both of these foldable devices to make their appearance on the market by the third quarter of this year. The foldable series slowly started to appear in the talks and rumors. However, there isn’t much information regarding them so far, but we sure know enough for now.

We recently found a report regarding the next-gen foldable’s storage options. As per the reports, the next Galaxy foldable series will have similar storage variants as the Galaxy S23 flagship. Not only are the options similar, but they may use the same storage chips as well. In specific, they will use USF 3.1 chip for the 128GB variant and USF 4.0 chip for the upper variants. The Galaxy Foldables will get the below-mentioned storage options.

Galaxy Z Fold 5

The to-be-launched Galaxy Z Fold 5 device will get a total of three storage options- 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It is the same as the newly-launched Galaxy S23 Ultra device and its predecessor Galaxy Z Fold 4 device. Informatively, all of these storage variants will use the USF 4.0 storage chips in them. The future Galaxy Z Flip 5 device will also have a total of three storage options- 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, which is similar to the base Galaxy S23 device. For information, the 128GB variant will use the old USF 3.1 storage chip, while the rest two variants with 256GB and 512GB of storage will use the new USF 4.0 chip in them.

Samsung may debut Satellite connectivity feature with the Galaxy S24 series

Let us inform you USF 4.0 storage chip has a better read and write speed than the previous USF 3.1 chip. Consequently, it seems that the 128GB variant will get no upgrades in its storage. However, these are just reports currently and haven’t been confirmed by the company. There is a possibility that we may get to know other rumors as well regarding the foldable device.
