Samsung began Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 mass production

Samsung is just two months away from debuting its next-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and it has now begun mass production.

The Korean tech giant is gearing up for its seventh-generation foldable phones to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the first week of July 2025. Apart from these devices, Samsung is also working on a new affordable foldable phone, Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is rumored to be called Galaxy Z Flip Xe, but it’s anticipated to launch later this year in the fourth quarter.

A few days back, it was reported that Samsung would begin Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 mass production sometime in May, and now the report has come true. A tipster, Panda Flash, on X, shared a post claiming that the company has begun mass production of its next-generation foldable phone.

A few days back, it was reported that Samsung will power the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (US Model) with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and it has also been spotted running One UI 8 online on Geekbench. Whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is reported to be powered by the in-house Exynos 2500 for cost-cutting.

It’s confirmed that the company will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event in early July to debut the latest foldable phones, but the official date has yet to be confirmed. It will be interesting to see exactly what new novelties the coming foldable phones will bring.
