
Samsung is setting up to introduce its next-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is now anticipated to be called Galaxy Z Flip Xe instead.
Currently, Samsung is working on several foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip FE, and Galaxy G Fold (tri-fold). The seventh-generation foldable phones will launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is reported to be held in the first week of July 2025.
Samsung introduces its Galaxy FE (Fan Edition) phones, which are essentially a wallet-friendly version of the standard flagship S series phones; for instance, the Galaxy S24 FE. Since Galaxy Z Flip FE leaks and rumors have surfaced online, it was supposed that the company is planning to launch an FE variant of the foldable phones, but that’s not the case anymore since a new report suggesting agaisnt it.
According to the new report, a new model number, SM-F761 being listed by a carrier, which hints that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE may be called the Galaxy Z Flip Xe. Noticeably, it’s not the first time the Galaxy Z Flip Xe has come into existence, since the SM-F761 has been listed in the official GSMA IMEI database, hinting at the Galaxy Z Flip Xe since late last year.
However, there’s no official word regarding this report, so it will be interesting to see whether Samsung will call the coming foldable Galaxy Z Flip FE or Galaxy Z Flip Xe.
