Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 expected launch date revealed

Samsung is supposed to debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is now anticipated to be held in the first week of July 2025.

The Korean tech giant is looking forward to launching its seventh-generation foldable devices at the next Unpacked event. Usually, the company holds two major Unpacked events in a year, first in the early part of the year to launch the latest Galaxy S-series, and another in the second half of the year dedicatedly to the latest foldable phones.

Following the previously unpacked event timelines, the event is already anticipated to be held sometime in July. Now, a new report from the JoongAng revealed that Samsung will hold the next Galaxy Unpacked event in the first week of July to launch the latest foldable phones.

According to the report, Samsung will hold the event in New York, USA, and it will be the first time in the past three years since 2022. This hints that the company is putting much effort into the US market amid increased risks due to reciprocal tariff measures by US President Donald Trump.

Apart from this, the report also claims that Samsung will introduce a new Galaxy Watch and its first Android XR-based headset at the event. Potentially, it could also tease the Galaxy Z Flip FE and its first tri-fold, the Galaxy G Fold, during the event. Since Samsung hasn’t released the official timeline, it remains to be seen whether this report will come true.
