Samsung is gearing up to introduce its affordable flipable smartphone, Galaxy Z Flip FE, which is now anticipated to debut in the late second half of the year.
The Korean tech giant is actively working on expanding its foldable family by debuting innovative devices. Currently, it is looking forward to debuting at least three new foldable devices this year, including; Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2025, and the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Apart from these three devices, the company is also expected to debut its first tri-fold phone, the Galaxy G Fold.
A few days back, it was reported that Samsung will debut the Galaxy Z Flip FE at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2025 alongside the seventh-generation foldable devices. Now, a reliable tipster, Anthony, shared a new post on X, claiming that the Galaxy Z Flip FE is now targeted for the second half of the year, between late Q3 and Q4. This means that it will not be a part of the launch event.
Apart from this, the tipster also claimed that this delay confirms the Galaxy Z Flip FE will be powered by the Exynos 2500. Whereas, more leaks and reports seem to confirm a Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Samsung has yet to reveal the official details regarding the Galaxy Z Flip FE launch, so it remains to be seen whether it will join the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 at the Unpacked event or will launch later this year.
