Samsung debuted its Galaxy C55 device without even receiving any notification, although at the moment, the device is listed only on Samsung China’s official website. The Galaxy C series is not the latest one, since the giant used to launch smartphones under the C series but suddenly the series vanished away, and now it’s back in the market with the Galaxy C55, initially in China.

Apart from the announcement of the device, Samsung has not revealed any details regarding price or availability.

The Galaxy C55 has now officially debuted in China, which means that it will soon go on sale and also be available in other regions. The info stated that the Galaxy C55 will be available for purchase in China for:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage = 1,999 Yuan (nearly $275).
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage = 2,299 Yuan (nearly $320).

Samsung Galaxy C55 Key Specs:

The Samsung Galaxy C55 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, FHD+ resolution, and 1000 nits peak brightness, plus a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The brand powered it with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a 5,000mAh battery, and the support of 45W wired fast charging. The triple-camera setup includes a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro. On the flip side, a 50MP selfie camera is housed.

Available in two color options: orange and fashion black, both of which arrive with a stitched vegan leather back. The smartphone measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs around 180 grams. If the reports are to be believed, the Galaxy C55 will launch in China on April 28.

Samsung’s new Fan Edition, ‘Galaxy S24 FE’ Is driving in the developing phase and will soon take the floor.

Samsung Galaxy fans, especially those who prefer affordable models but have a high-end specialty, should get ready for the next iteration since the brand has already started working on the Galaxy S24 FE. On the other hand, the Giants are already close to debuting the next-generation foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July.

Although, at the moment, the exact details regarding this smartphone have not come into existence yet, a well-trusted source, GalaxyClub, a trusted source for Samsung leaks, unveiled that the Korean giant is cooking up a new smartphone codenamed R12.

We expect this codename is for the Galaxy S24 FE, since following the pattern of the previous FE model’s codename also appeared the same; for instance, S20 FE – R8, S21 FE – R9, S23 FE – R11, and now this S24 FE – R12.

The giant debuted the Galaxy S23 FE last year in October, so following that schedule, the Galaxy S24 FE could also arrive in October.

Apart from the codename, nothing more has been revealed regarding the phone, but it was previously reported that the Galaxy S24 FE could feature a bigger display as compared to its predecessor, which is expected to have a 6.7-inch panel. The giant could power the Galaxy S24 FE with the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Samsung users have been apprehensive about the green line issue since last year, as these minor lines pose a significant problem for Galaxy users. Finally, the brand has officially assured the users that it offers a free one-time display in some markets.

The green line issue has been haunting Galaxy users since last year, and finally, the brand has now assured to take a step for the users who are facing this issue. Samsung has officially responded that it will provide a free one-time display, but here’s the catch: only in some markets.

Samsung has now expanded its list of supported Galaxy devices to include the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S22 series.  The users who are reporting the green line issue have devices with Super AMOLED displays. Reports about the issue have resurfaced over the past couple of weeks, highlighting the fact that even more models suffer from it now.

The Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Note 20 series are included in the eligible device list for replacing the display. Samsung India has been offering a free display replacement for affected Galaxy models since July 2023, and now the list is expanding to include the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S22 series.

Similar to last year, this time Samsung is offering a free battery and kit replacement, but interested parties should hurry up since here’s the deadline, as reported by a well-known tipster, Tarun on X. Users who are facing the green line issue must book their appointments at a Samsung Service Center until April 30, 2024, to get a free replacement from the company.
