Recently, Samsung has developed a beta version of its upcoming interface, One UI 5.0, which will run on Android 13. It is soul managed by Samsung, which will help to create a credible and better user experience, and after that, by analyzing the feedback from the beta program, this brand will release its One UI 5.0 version. Well, there is no cost for participation in Beta Program, and neither should you expect any reward or compensation.

Installation of the One UI Beta version

Users should be aware before installing this version that you have to create a backup of their data as it can cause data loss.

You have to download the Samsung Member application from Galaxy Store or Google Play Store, after which you have to log in to the application with your Samsung account and select registration for the Beta program.

Then move towards the setting option of your smartphone, click on Software Update, then download and install.

Features Packed in One UI 5.0

This new version of UX will come with several new exciting features which will grab the attention of each and every smartphone user:

Intelligent WiFi 

This will provide several options to the user, like now you can prioritize your data as well as you can switch to a better WiFi network. Other than this user can also now open the developer option, which will show the user in link speed, connection information, network-specific option, and Nearby WiFi tab.

Individual Call Background 

It was also available in 4.1.1, but in this version, the user can choose different backgrounds instead of selecting the universal background.

Fine Visual Changes 

Now the user will get a better section of styling and wallpaper and will also provide lots of color combinations for wallpaper with 8 dynamic themes. Samsung also introduced new icons for its many apps like Gallery, My phone, Calendar, etc. As well as notification and permission pop-ups will come with round corners and theme-matching colors. 

Defined the Individual Notification Control

With this version, customers can choose the three particular option-based notification types.

Modified the Widget Presentation

Here users can now simply track and leave the widget option as it all will be overlapped with one another, and it will help to use the widgets more simply.

A new look at the Camera Interface

These new features will help a lot of the users with designing; you can choose three different forms and alignment of texts. For average photographers, this UI will provide an “i” option which will provide a better texture as a result.

Available devices for this Program

Well, the available devices are Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S21, galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy A52. Later on, there may be chances of some more devices to include. Whereas after releasing the real version of One UI 5.0, it will be received by many other galaxy series through OTA.

Comparison of One UI 4.1.1 and One UI 5.0

Currently, One UI 4.1.1, which was released on 10th August 2022, is running on the flagship foldables of Samsung, which is based on Android 12L, but the upcoming version of the UX One UI 5.0 will be based on Android 13 and there might be some chances of releasing this UX version on October. Whereas Android 13 was launched on 15th August 2022.

In terms of Security features, it is better than its predecessor as the third-party apps have to get for everything.

The icons of the notification center are bigger and clear than the previous one as well as Active App feature is also included in this version which will help in cleaning RAM and conserve battery power.

Now UI for permission to access is green in color and rectangular in shape, which looks far more attractive than the previous one. Other than this, you can add watermarks on your photo, which was not available in another version previously; it can be viable from the setting.

In previous UI learning, the battery usage pattern was available but not with the specific key which is provided in this upcoming version.

Improved the feature of Splitting the screen compared to the old version, which will also support that app that does not support the screen split feature, and this portent will provide a multiwindow experience to the users.
