Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, And S22 Ultra Gets One UI 5.0 Beta 3 In India
After One UI 5.0 beta 2 at the end of August and less than a month from the supposed stable firmware release date, the Galaxy S22 series has started receiving Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta 3.
The South Korean tech giant has already rolled out the One UI 5.0 beta 3 firmware in the Germany and Poland for the Galaxy S22 series, now it’s serving for Indian users.
Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has started receiving the One UI beta 3 update in India, with build number S901EXXU2ZVI9, S906EXXU2ZVI9, and S908EXXU2ZVI9 respectively. Among the new features are a new Storyts feature in the Style of the Gallery and a slightly retouched background selection screen, as well as the ability to change the background of the lock screen directly from there by exerting prolonged pressure.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are getting the same update with firmware version numbers G991NKSU4FXD3, G996NKSU4FXD3, and G998NKSU4FXD3, respectively.
The April 2024 update brings new security-related enhancements; as per the documentation, there are more than 40 fixes introduced. Google has included 27 fixes that will resolve issues in the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 patches that will fix the issues found in Galaxy devices exclusively.
Along with this, Samsung has also introduced a mobile ID function for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 users. With this function, users will be able to carry their driving license and national veteran registration card in the Samsung Wallet.
