Samsung SmartThings Framework update is available with new features
Samsung SmartThings is now getting a new update with V2.1.01.8. The latest update doesn’t include any new changelog; the attached one is the older changelog that came with the previous update.
However, having a size of 20.97MB software package, we assume that the update may contain some internal function improvements for the functions which were introduced in previous updates. For your information, in the previous update, Samsung introduced some changes like the integration of modes and routines with the device; wherever the sleep mode starts, it will automatically dim the lights and close the blinds. Additionally, In the phone app, the projector option is also added.
The new update is now available for Galaxy device users; it can be downloaded through the Galaxy store.
For your information, SmartThings Framework is a service that shows UI for controlling SmartThings devices from multiple apps. Basically, you can easily operate different types of Smart devices like lights, TVs, speakers, and home appliances (air conditioners, air purifiers and etc.) registered in SmartThings right away from Call, Modes & Routines, Clock app, Smart View, Weather, Calendar and so on.
