YouTube Music Now Lets You Listen Offline on Web

YouTube Music is a dedicated streaming application of Google that provides access to millions of songs and podcasts across the world. The company provides several features to manage the songs on the application, like creating playlists, subscribing to favorite podcast artists, offline downloads, background music streaming, and many more. Meanwhile, the desktop version lacks some of the features like offline download, but fortunately, the feature is now available for it as well.
YouTube desktop users now listen to music offline
According to 9to5Google, YouTube has been testing the offline music download feature for a long time, and now it seems that it has completed its testing and is gradually expanding it to users. It is worth noticing that the download content on the web gets its own Download tab within your library, and for convenience, it will also provide some filters like playlists, podcasts, songs, or albums.
When you download the content on the web app, it will count toward YouTube Music’s 10-device download limit. Meanwhile, the offline downloads will expire if your device doesn’t connect to the internet at least once every 30 days.
Google is gradually expanding the feature, so it is expected that the company will distribute the feature to all the users in the next few days. As the feature will be available from the serverside directly, it will be available to the users soon. You can check it by going to the desktop version on your device.
