Samsung Electronics has to organize a Galaxy Unpacked event in the United States to mark the introduction of the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year (Sedaily). The strategy is to improve the premium image of the Galaxy S range by introducing a flagship in the US., a battleground for global high-end smartphones. It’s quite a challenge for Samsung to make a mark on the native ground of its rival in the smartphone division, Apple.
The most likely selected city for the event in the United States is San Francisco, California, where the Galaxy S23 was launched. As a tradition, Samsung Electronics has maintained its practice of introducing the Galaxy S series in San Francisco, USA, and the Galaxy Z series in New York, USA. But as a change this year, the fifth generation of leaflets, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, were unveiled in the Unpacked event that was hosted in Seoul, South Korea. There was talk that it was a deliberate move by Samsung to bolster the Korean government, which was working on hosting the ‘World Expo 2030.’
Samsung to Offer Both Exynos and Snapdragon Variants of the Galaxy S24 and S24+
The Galaxy S24 series is surely a long-awaited one, mostly because of its processor, as Samsung is said to bring its Exynos 2400 with the series. Previous application processors from Samsung have been criticized for overheating issues; let’s wait to see what the new processor’s performance holds. Further, the Exynos 2400 processor has a 70% faster CPU, an AMD RDNA3-based Xclipse 940 GPU, and 14.7x quicker AI processing.
