The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 appears close to taking the floor. It appears that Samsung is actively working on its next generation of foldables.
Now it’s time for the new upgrade in the foldable industry: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is on the way. Recent reports are unveiling more about the device, increasing enthusiasm among fans. The reports reveal the exclusive Galaxy Z Fold 6 design renders, as well as presenting a 360-degree video and 5K renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The design renders, in collaboration Smartprix & OnLeaks, unveil the 360-degree design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with completely flat sides similar to the Galaxy S24 series. In the 360-degree video, it appears that the device is in a dark gray color, probably the Phantom Black color.

It is also noticed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has the same boxy frame as the Galaxy S24, plus the same ports housed on the top and bottom, comprising three microphones and a speaker grill at the top, whereas the USB-C port, another microphone, and a speaker grill are on the bottom side.

The 3D renders also demonstrate the similar Galaxy S24 Ultra-style new speaker grill design on the upcoming foldable. The power button, along with a merged fingerprint scanner, the volume rockers on the right, and the SIM card slot on the left of the device. It appears that it has a triple camera setup and a punch-hole selfie camera on the outer screen.

It is being speculated by the renders that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 features an inner screen of 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm while unfolded, whereas the front measures 6.2 inches. It is expected that a more drastic change will arrive with the next generation of foldables. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be similarly thicker than its predecessor, which is 6.1mm. The brand may also attach a similar droplet-style hinge.
Expected Key Specs of the Galaxy Z Fold 6
Since Samsung has not revealed any official specifications yet, expectations are that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature a 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch inner display, which will be dynamic AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cover display most probably features the new Corning Gorilla Glass Armor for protection and can also expect a higher peak brightness of about 2,600 Nits.
Jumping on the camera, it may get a 50MP, a 12MP, and a 10MP camera setup, plus a 10MP selfie camera and a 4MP under-display camera. The memory package will include up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The brand may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 G3en 3 and run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box.
And it is expected that the brand will announce it by the end of July 2024 at a Galaxy Unpacked event.
