Samsung Galaxy S24 started getting the June 2024 security patch in Europe

Samsung has rolled out the June 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S24 devices. Currently, these devices only get updates in the US, but with the latest developments, they have started getting updates in Europe.

Users who own the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S921BXXS2AXEF, S926BXXS2AXEF, and S928BXXS2AXEF, respectively. The update comes in a normal software package of 455MB. It indicates that the device will not get any major or visible changes, so don’t be too excited about the update.

Notably, the June 2024 security patch update will enhance the overall performance of the device with security strengthening. In a nutshell, it will provide nearly 60 fixes, with enhancements from Google, which has added 37 fixes to improve the overall performance of the Android ecosystem. Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced 22 more patches to elevate the device’s performance.

In addition, the update may also provide some fixes under the internal functionalities that improve the overall performance and stability of the device.
