Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra Could Also get One UI 6.1.1 update after the Galaxy Unpacked

Samsung started gearing up for its next update, One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14. The giant usually releases its One UI *.1.1 iteration for its bigger-screen devices, but it could also include the Galaxy S24 device this time.

It was already reported that Samsung had begun the One UI 6.1.1 internal testing for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. It has also started updating its applications with support for One UI 6.1.1. Before the official announcement, leaks and rumors are blowing in the market. The new report suggests that Samsung could offer a One UI 6.1.1 update to the recently launched Galaxy S24.

If the new reports are to be believed, Samsung could not only bring some of these features of One UI 6.1.1 to conventional phones, but it could also offer those with a new version of One UI. A well-reliable tipster shared a post reporting that he has spotted a new firmware version on the server for the Galaxy S24 Ultra on Samsung’s server.

He mentioned the S928BXXU2AXF3 version. If this report comes true, then it will be the first time in the history of Samsung that it will release the One UI *.1.1 iteration for conventional or non-foldable smartphones. The reason behind this change appears to be that the giant could be planning to offer new features to conventional smartphones with the latest version of One UI because this time it is actively looking forward to offering more features than usual.

Reportedly, it could also offer more AI-powered features. So, the brand might want to highlight those by offering them a new version of One UI. If Samsung delivers the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 version to the Galaxy S24, then other old devices like the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series could also be in line to receive the update. The update will bring more new AI-powered tools, including drawing on the screen using S-Pen and improved UI design.
