New WhatsApp Update Brings Group Event Features to Chats

In the last couple of years, WhatsApp has brought many new features and improvements to the application, and the community is also one of the major developments here with the new ability to maintain multiple groups under one community.

WhatsApp has introduced some exclusive features for communities, such as events and managing events, but now the company is planning to introduce these functions to group changes as well.

WhatsApp has started testing some community-exclusive features for groups, with the latest beta update coming with version number 2.24.14.9. Traditional group users can use the create events option, which allows them to enter a name, date, location, and description. Once the event has been created, a group member can see the notification and accept the invitation.

With the latest integration of the new features, WhatsApp has also ensured that the group message will still be run under the same process of encryption.

However, the latest feature is still available for users who have enrolled their devices in the beta program.

If you haven’t enrolled your device in the beta program, then you can still do that by following the simple process: first go to the Google Play store, then search for WhatsApp. Now, here, tap on the Join button. Once the process of registration is successful, you will receive the update. Install it and enjoy the latest update.
