Earlier this week, Samsung introduced the July 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 series device in Europe. The update is live for the Canadian units of the Galaxy Tab S9 series for further expansion.

July 2024 update hits Galaxy Tab S9 Wi-only units

Samsung is rolling out the July 2024 Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra in Europe with firmware version numbers X710XXS4BXG5, X810XXS4BXG5, and X910XXS4BXG5, respectively.

July 2024 is a general security patch update that doesn’t bring any significant changes. In simple words, you will not get any visual changes, but it may provide some effective changes that will protect the changes of the devices.

If you are a One UI feature fan, you will soon get access to some new features with the One UI 6.1.1 for your tablets. As per the information, Galaxy Tab S9 users may get some new features for their devices.

However, before that update, you need to update your device to the latest security patch. To do that, go to the software update menu through the system settings. If your device hasn’t received the update yet, you have to wait some more time as it is gradually available for all units.
