One UI 6.1.1 Brings New Camera and Gallery Upgrades

Finally, Samsung started expanding the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update to its eligible Galaxy devices. The update brings dozens of new features and upgrades to revamp the overall system software. It dedicatedly brings lots of new enhancements to the camera functionality and Gallery.
The Galaxy S24 lineup is the first to receive the One UI 6.1.1 update in South Korea. It’s expected that soon the brand will expand the availability of the update to more devices widely. The update brings a bundle of features to enhance the camera experience and gallery functions.
One UI 6.1.1 improves the Camera experience
The One UI 6.1.1 introduces the FlexCam feature for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 that lets you take photos and videos with the phone closed using the cover screen’s camera.
The update brings instant slow-mo with HDR video format, which improves color accuracy, contrast, and brightness. You can now share these slow-mo videos directly without saving them separately.
One UI 6.1.1 brings a new celestial portrait mode in Expert RAW. The Astro Portrait function lets you take pictures of people and stars together.
One UI 6.1.1 brings Gallery enhancement
One UI 6.1.1 brings a new feature called Live Effect, which lets you enjoy 3D pictures of people and animals in the picture.
Motion Clipper is another improvement the One UI 6.1.1 update introduced. It permits you to create moving stickers and GIFs by pressing and holding in Motion Photo.
Photo Editor gets a new Portrait Studio and Sketch conversion feature. The portrait studio lets you save your photos by selecting different styles through AI generation. The sketch conversion helps you to create and add pictures that you sketched on top of your picture as images.
Overlay translation will help to maintain the text and background color of the actual image. The update improved the visibility by overlaying it on the image.
