One UI 7

One UI 7.0 Release May Take More Time; Probably Not Launched at SDC24

Samsung is all set to host its Samsung Developer Conference 2024 within a few hours. Unfortunately, the expectation that the most-awaited Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to be released at SDC24 seems to have gone wrong.

After tons of failed predictions, somewhere it was expected that Samsung could introduce the One UI 7 at SDC24, but that’s not the true case, as a tipster hints.

Undoubtedly, for so long Samsung has been continuously working on Android 15-based One UI 7. Despite the long-lasting development stage, Samsung is not yet ready to reveal the exact timeline for the One UI 7 beta update.

Meanwhile, a well-reliable tipster, Ice Universe, shared a post on X, stating that “I don’t know if One UI 7 will be mentioned at SDC24, but it’s a safe bet that One UI 7 won’t be released for quite some time.” This suggests that the upcoming One UI 7 release is still uncertain at SDC24. He also points out not to expect the update release, at least for quite some time.

The software’s testing has been spotted on the servers several times. The company’s official server is updating builds quite frequently. Noticeably, until now any beta build with a “Z” marking has not come into existence.

The reason behind this delay seems to be to develop an exclusive, more efficient, quite smooth, and bugless software version. Another reason seems to be the integration of more advanced Galaxy AI features. It will be interesting to see whether the coming One UI 7 will be worth the wait or not.
