Samsung Issues Warning to Galaxy S24 Beta Testers Over One UI 7 Update

While the Galaxy S24 series owners are testing One UI 7 beta since 5th December, 2024, three beta versions have already been released so far; the process still seems to be in a continuation as the company may be planning to bring the fourth beta build of its latest Android 15-based software skin.

Galaxy S24 One UI 7 Beta: Update Cautions and What to Do Before Official Release

According to a recent report, users enrolled in the beta program have just received a warning. The page listed that the Samsung community official issued a warning message for the Galaxy S24 series owners who have participated in the One UI 7 beta program, according to which if the users exit the beta program ahead of the official One UI 7 release, they will not receive the stable Android 15 skin and may further need to manually flash the latest firmware or even reset their phone.

Alternatively, this apparently elaborates that those One UI beta program participants with their Galaxy S24 running the latest version (Beta 3) firmware installed will seamlessly be able to switch to the stable One UI 7 version; however, those who are still on the previous (older) beta builds will experience issues, even data vanishing.

Not to forget, Samsung’s newest flagships, the S25 units, are the only smartphones to be housed with the One UI 7 version, and the company is yet to release the stable One UI 7 version, which seems to face further delay, so if anyone has removed the beta program from their Galaxy S24s, then they are advised to re-enroll in the One UI 7 beta program.
