Beginning with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has started the latest February 2025 security update rollout for its Galaxy devices. Several European countries, including Spain, have spotted the Galaxy S22 lineup smartphones receiving the newest patch.

Samsung’s February 2025 security update just hit the Galaxy S24 series, and this time, the company is expanding the security patch for the Galaxy S22 units in Europe.

The S901BXXSDEYA1, S906BXXSDEYA1, and S908BXXSDEYA1 version numbers, respectively, identify the update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

While the patch is expected to reach all the other regions shortly, as usual, Samsung has not added any major features or changes with the latest February 2025 patch.

It significantly focuses on improving the system security by integrating a lot of fixes addressed by both Google and Samsung collectively for all the security vulnerabilities that offer a safer and more secure experience to the users while also protecting the device against external threats.

Apart from this, the update further adds more stability and reliability to the overall system behavior, brings certain performance optimizations, applies all the latest security patches, and improves all the existing features, which leads to better, more stable, and optimized system functionality.
