Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ Owners Complain About 2.0 Superfast Charging Bugs

Although the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ models support in-box USB cables, the users have been constantly facing issues regarding imperfect or slow charging.

Even after having 45W super-fast charging support, Samsung Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra owners have reported (via Reddit) that they have been facing slow charging issues in their phones, while many of them claimed to have broken or irregular charging interruptions by continuously switching among charging and not charging states despite showing Super Charging 2.0 on their device’s lock screen.

Not only this, the users have further noticed that the slow charging issue appears to be due to using Samsung’s official 45W charger, which is paired up with a 5A USB-C cable, though, because right after turning off the super-fast charging option, the smartphone is continuing to charge but at a very slow speed.

Alternatively, the base Galaxy S25 owners remain unaffected by this issue as the phone supports only 25W fast charging.

It’s impressive that Samsung is already aware of the fast charging issue and assured us it would fix it with a future update. While the company is working on bringing the fix as quickly as possible, for now, the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra owners are advised to either switch to a 3A USB-C cable or simply turn off the fast charging option.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 devices are indeed feature-packed; however, issues like this are literally disappointing to fans; the company is expected to bring a solution to resolve the charging issue occurring in the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra units.
