One UI 7 Beta 5 Rollout Isn’t Happening Yet—Here’s What We Know

Samsung’s One UI 7 beta journey started on 5th December last year, which was then followed by the second and so on. While on the entire road, the company has released a total of 4 beta builds of its Android 15-based software skin; a lot of confusion has been created in the audience’s mind regarding the new update being beta 5 that is rolling out globally.
In short, the latest update is not the One UI 7 Beta 5 update; rather, Samsung itself mentions that it’s just a beta 4 hotfix update.
Samsung One UI 7 Beta Update Story
Substantially, it was previously reported that Samsung may consider releasing 6 One UI 7 beta builds for Galaxy S24 series users, where the first beta arrived on 5th December, 2024, and is then followed by three more, including the second on 16th December, the third one on 3rd January, 2025, and the fourth beta on 19th February, 2025.
However, the company never says anything regarding the 5th and 6th beta builds; rather, it released a new update, which is the 4th Beta hotfix and not One UI 7 Beta 5.
First One UI 7 Beta 4 hotfix arrived in the US to fix the VVM crash issue
Sequentially, right after acknowledging a few issues in the One UI 7 Beta 4 build, Samsung proceeded with an all-new software that was certainly not a Beta 5 update, but it (ZYBB) apparently brought a fix for the VVM crash issue occurring on Galaxy S24 devices, which was only limited to the US region.

One UI 7 Beta 4 Hotfix update reaches more regions, but with a different build and fix
After the US, the One UI 7 Beta 4 fix update (carrying the ZYBF version number) expands to more regions, including Germany, India, Poland, and South Korea. However, this time the software not only carried a different version number but also brought a new fix for the issue where the refresh rate apparently drops in certain situations.

2nd hotfix of One UI 7 Beta 4 update in the US!
While the first 4th Beta Hotfix fixed the VVM crash issues, Samsung continued with yet another 4th Beta hotfix (2nd) in the US that carried the similar version number that has been delivered in other countries (ZYBF), and also the changelog lists the same refresh rate drop issue fix for Galaxy S24 models.

Thus, it’s the 4th beta hotfix and not One UI 7 beta 5
Since the changelog specifically mentions the new beta update as One UI 7 beta 4 hotfix, then it’s clear that the beta 5 build is yet to arrive in any case, if it is so.
